Data Quality Analyst SQL, ETL & Data Governance

📍 Tel Aviv Hybrid (up to 2 days from home) Full-time

About the Role

We’re looking for a technical Data Analyst with strong hands-on data capabilities to join a Data & AI organization and take ownership of complex Data Quality and Data Governance processes.

This is not a BI development role. We’re looking for an analyst who understands how data moves through an organization – someone who can dive into ETL processes, trace data from Source to Target, investigate where and why data gaps occur, and translate that understanding into effective data controls.

The role combines deep hands-on SQL work with business process analysis, Data Lake and DWH environments, and end-to-end ownership of data investigations and controls.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Data Quality and data control processes end-to-end

• Investigate complex ETL data flows, including Source-to-Target mappings and Transformations

• Use advanced SQL to trace data across different layers and identify data gaps, anomalies and root causes

• Work across DWH, Data Lake, core systems and large-scale data environments

• Understand complex business processes and translate them into KPIs and data controls

• Connect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify logical relationships and inconsistencies

• Work directly with business and technology stakeholders to investigate processes, identify gaps and define solutions

• Develop and execute SQL-based controls using Quilliup

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with data in large, complex organizations

• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries

• Strong practical experience with ETL processes, including the ability to independently investigate Data Flows, Source-to-Target mappings and Transformations

• Experience working with large-scale data environments such as DWH, Big Data and Data Lake

• Experience with large databases and/or non-relational databases such as MongoDB

• Ability to independently retrieve, connect and investigate data across multiple data layers

• Experience leading analytical processes end-to-end

• Strong understanding of complex business processes and the ability to translate them into data controls

• Previous experience in the banking / financial sector

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics or Mathematics

• High level of independence, ownership and ability to drive processes across business and technology teams
